TREND ALERT: The Sweatshirt, 2 Ways

This cozy classic is no longer reserved for the gym or lazy Sundays on the couch. As countless recent fashion runways and magazines have attested, the sweatshirt has now transitioned into a stylish staple, seen paired with pencil trousers, leather pants, and even sequined skirts for an easy way to create some contrast amongst bolder dressy pieces. But the sweatshirt has also gotten an update of its own, with either fun prints, embellishments or silk or leather accents, giving a whole new meaning to just “putting on a sweatshirt and jeans”. I recently did a photo-shoot demonstrating two ways to wear a printed sweatshirt, the now popular “Love and Soul” sweatshirt from Army and Navy. The first look is a bit more dressed up (Date-night), and the other is more casual (Drinks with Friends).
